I’m Max Hixon, a Musician and Designer based in North Shropshire.

Music - My music has led to a wide range of experiences, from travelling the world performing aboard cruise ships, to hearing my work featured on TV shows. I’ve also taught 600+ students online and worked behind the scenes in music publishing. I play Guitar, Bass (plus Double Bass) and Ukulele. I also produce my own music.

Illustration & Design - Both of my parents are artists so i’ve grown up surrounded by art and design. I initially began creating illustrations and designs to support my music, and I now create visual work for a broader range of businesses and creative projects (as well as stand alone pieces).

Approach - For me writing a piece music or working on a design is like a creative puzzle for me to complete. I enjoy the process, often finding solutions that are even better than my original idea.

Where approriate, my creations naturally lean towards my inspirations, in particular 1950’s and 60’s music and design. I am a huge fan of early Rock ‘N’ Roll, Surf Rock and Rockabilly.
